Delete your Bookworm account

Bookworm (Android app and bookworm.vivekkhare.org) lets you delete your account and data at any time.

How to delete

1. Sign in to Bookworm in the app or on the website.
2. Open the menu (your initials, top right) and choose Account.
3. Tap Delete my account, type your email to confirm, and submit.

Can't sign in? Email support@vivekkhare.org from your account's email address and we'll delete it within 30 days.

Delete only some data

To remove an uploaded book or document without deleting your account, open your Dashboard, find the upload under your books and tap Delete. The file, its summaries, audio, flashcards and chat history are removed immediately.

What is deleted

Your profile, uploaded books and documents, summaries, audio, flashcards and chat history from your uploads, sign-in codes, activity logs and reports you submitted. This happens immediately.

What is kept

Payment records (amount, date, payment reference) are kept without your name or email for as long as tax law requires. Shared library summaries aren't personal data and stay in the library.
